The work below showcases both freelance & agency projects I’ve been working on in the digital space. My most recent time as a creative has seen me working on UI/UX for both websites & apps. Below are some projects which demonstrate my design practice working with a number of platforms. When I design to my own style I like to think of it as clean, simplistic & minimal - I sometimes tend to mix this up depending on the project brief & needs. My preferred design programs are Sketch & Invision, although I do find the Adobe Cloud very handy.

Career Planet is an app for the Education industry. Below are some designs from the landing page which was built to market the app. I was in charge of the UX & UI of the website. I was also UI/UX for the iOS mobile & web app, as well as the branding. This is a project that I have poured my passion into as I truely believe that there is a need for it - in high schools especially. There is a need for this in the industry, careers are important & it has to be made interesting for the kids to have a good look into their possibilities - Career Planet is the solution.

New to the market, this fashion label brand was looking for an eCommerce solution. I handled the art direction & Shopify store setup for Savannah Morrow The Label. This included; UI, UX, website customisations, content management, store setup including shipping/payment & ongoing management. We started with a basic Shopify template & gradually customised the site - I proposed designs to my client & worked with the Shopify devs to make the site a little more unique.

Salty Luxe was after a website to share travel blogs & to grow their audience - we initially setup with Wordpress. Soon came the need for an eCommerce solution & this was best achieved by integrating Shopify. My role involved building content & content management, UI/UX, store setup, email lists, automations & ongoing updates/management. As freelance designer I am often evolving the site to better suit the Salty Luxe direction & message.

InHostel Booking is an iOS application I have been working on. I am the iOS Designer as well as Graphic Designer for the project. InHostel Bookings will provide services via an app, website, and be a portal for backpackers, and businesses supporting and promoting backpacking. The app will be the primary interface for end users (backpackers) and will provide the user with information related to accommodation, events, tours and attractions. A set of back end systems, cloud services, and connectors will form the basis of the administrative and business portal which will allow verified businesses to promote their businesses and enter special offers.

Below are some sections of the design I proposed for an eComm project. I handled the UI/UX for the restaurant to uplift their online presence. My role was also to look into the possibilities for order & reservation automations, as well as a customised checkout for pickup/delivery options. The UI is minimal & was mainly focussed on the use of whitespace & imagery.

PERISHER APp - with voice command

This application was designed for the public sector of the snow sports industry. The Perisher app with voice command allows for a unique ability to monitor your interface on the go! I designed the user interface and navigation system to enhance user experience at Perisher. The user will be able to navigate throughout the app without the need to take off their gloves. The screens displayed are; home screen, voice command, weather, new snow, trail status.
